FULL DESCRIPTIONS:
Our company is looking for the qualified Security Branch Manager to start working urgently.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have Matric certificate, PSIRA Grade A registration and accreditation.
- Must have at least 10 years’ experience in the security industry.
- Must have senior Security Management experience in managing a large security work force.
- Must have working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management and its requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Must have people management experience and skills.
- Must have administration, interpersonal communication and client liaison skills
- Must have strong planning, leadership, organisational skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have experience in Financial Management /Budgets.
- Must have experience in managing a fleet of vehicles.
- Assertive / Goal driven / Self motivator / passion for the business.
- Must have computer literacy on Microsoft Programs.
- Own reliable transport and valid Driver’s Licence is required.
- Must have no criminal record.
- Must have excellent track record.
- Must have firearm Competency.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overall management of the Branch which includes the following key functions, Operations, Financial Management, Transport, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, ISO, Client Portfolios, Contractual agreements, SLA’s etc.
- Management of Operations Mangers / Site Managers and Supervisors to ensure that all Client matters are dealt with promptly.
- Management of staff by applying the four major functions of a manager, planning, organizing, leading and controlling.
- Attending to daily / weekly /Monthly meetings with Clients as stipulated and when required.
- Attending daily / weekly, /monthly internal Management meetings as required.
- Quarterly appraisal of Operations and Administrative staff.
- Training and development of staff.
- Succession planning of staff.
- Assisting with the preparation of the annual budgets and ensuring that all managers maintain and adhere to set budgets
- Asset control.
- Fleet control.
- Firearm control.
- Responsible for staff, duty rosters and training
- Ensuring that due process is followed regarding the submission of quotations for purchases or repairs.
