FULL DESCRIPTIONS:

Our company is looking for the qualified National Keypoint Officers to start working urgently.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Must have thorough understanding of the National Key Points Act 102 of 1980 and related regulations.
Must have proficiency in security procedures, access control, and incident management.
Must have ability to operate CCTV, alarm systems, and other security technology.
Must have excellent observation and communication skills.
Must have ability to work effectively under pressure and in emergency situations.
Must have strong report writing skills.
Must have valid firearm competency certificate.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To implement and enforce all security procedures and policies as mandated by the National Key Points Act and specific site security plans.
To conduct regular patrols of the NKP perimeter and internal areas, identifying and reporting any security breaches, vulnerabilities, or suspicious activities.
To monitor and operate surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms, access control systems) and promptly respond to any alerts or incidents.
To control access to the NKP, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles are granted entry and exit, adhering to strict verification protocols.
To maintain accurate records of all security-related activities, incidents, patrols, and visitors.
To conduct thorough searches of individuals, vehicles, and packages as required by security protocols.
To respond to and manage emergency situations, including fire, medical emergencies, and security threats, in accordance with established procedures.
To liaise with law enforcement agencies and other emergency services during incidents or as required.
