FULL DESCRIPTIONS:
Our company is looking for the qualified Grade C Reaction Officer to start working urgently.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have Matric / Grade 12
- Must have valid PSIRA Grade C Certificate
- Must have Grade 10 /11 report with minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Must have minimum 2 years’ experience in the security industry.
- Must have experience as an Armed Guard/Armed Response Officer
- Must have proven exposure to high-risk environments.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Must have excellent firearm handling and safety knowledge
- Observation and reporting skills
- Must have communication proficiency (radio & verbal)
- Must have knowledge of access control, patrol procedures.
- Must have basic computer literacy for report writing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducting regular patrols of the premises.
- Monitoring access control and searching suspicious persons or vehicles.
- Preventing theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- Responding to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
- Carrying and handling firearms in accordance with legal and company procedures.
- Writing incident and occurrence reports.
- Ensuring compliance with security policies and safety procedures.
- Assisting employees, visitors, and clients when required.
- Liaising with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Supervising security risks and maintaining order on site.
