FULL DESCRIPTIONS:
Our company is looking for the qualified General Worker to start working urgently.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have Matric / Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 Equivalent.
- Having basic maintenance machinery knowledge/ experience on General Worker level will be a definite advantage.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Must have understanding of production procedures.
- Must have knowledge of health and safety procedures (PPE).
- Team player.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To cleaning the DAF unit, feather press, sump pit and feather area.
- Ensuring that the equipment is washed, and damaged or broken machines and equipment are reported to the shift controllers.
- To assist in inspecting broken shackles and yokes of the airline chiller during start-ups.
- Ensuring that the machines are working the entire production time and reporting all failures in time as and when they occur.
- Assisting in replacing the plucker fingers during weekend maintenance work.
- Ensuring that all valves, scrapers, screen, and pumps are in a good working condition.
- Ensuring that the sump pit room is clean and ready for start-up.
- Ensuring that the feather area is clean and ready.
- Ensuring that the water sieve unit is clean and ready for start-up.
