FULL DESCRIPTIONS:
Our company is looking for the qualified Driver to start working urgently.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have Matric / Senior Certificate.
- Must have valid South African Driver’s Licence.
- Must have valid Public Driver Permit (PDP).
- Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience, preferably in an office/corporate Driver capacity
- Must have 2–3+ years of experience in an office, corporate or company Driver environment.
- Must have experience transporting employees and dealing directly with internal and external customers.
- Must have experience maintaining vehicle logbooks, message books and delivery/collection records.
- Must have previous experience handling confidential documentation, equipment or petty cash.
- Must have strong experience using GPS and planning efficient routes.
- Must have practical experience with basic vehicle fault identification.
- Must have previous exposure to Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
- Must have experience working in a structured corporate or professional services environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Must have ability to read maps and use GPS navigation systems.
- Must have basic knowledge of motor vehicle fault finding and vehicle checks.
- Must have good verbal communication and listening skills.
- Must have good planning and scheduling abilities.
- Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Customer-focused with a professional and courteous manner.
- Must have ability to work under pressure and manage changing delivery/collection requirements.
- Must have bility to maintain accurate records and documentation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To collect and deliver company documentation, equipment, merchandise and other items as required.
- To collect company mail from the post office and deliver it to the relevant office.
- To transport employees to regional offices when required.
- To read and follow daily delivery and collection instructions.
- To maintain an accurate vehicle logbook, including delivery and collection tracking numbers.
- To maintain the company message book and ensure messages are communicated accurately and timeously.
- To conduct basic vehicle checks and identify/report vehicle faults or maintenance requirements.
- To ensure company vehicles are operated safely and responsibly.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
- T provide professional and courteous service to internal and external customers.
- To ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
