JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified General Assistant to start working ASAP.
KEY REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate must meet the following qualifications:
- Matric
KEY REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The candidate must have the following skills and competences
- Experience: General Assistant, General Worker, General Clerk
- Within 25km from job
- Clear criminal record
KEY DUTIES:
The candidate will have to implement the following duties:
- To share accurate information about products, help customers choose, and show how to use them
- Solve customer problems and make sure customers are happy with the service
- Greet customers, offer help, and answer questions with a positive and friendly attitude
- To tell customers about sales and special offers to make shopping better
- To ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service
- To handle cash and card payments, issue receipts, and process refunds and exchanges correctly
- To receive deliveries, organize products, and keep track of stock
- Put products on shelves neatly and make sure they are always available
- Quickly restock items that are sold out
- Properly dispose of store and storeroom waste and put it in the skip bin
- To assist with stock takes
- To follow safety, security, and environmental rules, policies, and procedures, including what to do in emergencies
- Cleaning of designated areas such as storeroom, kitchen etc.
