JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Catering Manager to start working ASAP.
KEY REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate must meet the following qualifications:
- Must have relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality and catering management is compulsory.
- Must have minimum 3 Years of experience of progressive/kitchen management is compulsory.
- Must have experience working within budget guidelines to deliver results is compulsory.
- Must have high Volume, complex food service operations experience is highly desirable.
KEY REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The candidate must have the following skills and competences
- Must have knowledge of the catering environment ranging from fine dining to restaurant dining.
- Must have knowledge of South African and industry-specific laws.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must have excellent people management skills.
- Must have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Must have exceptional functions management skills.
- Must have ability to balance the budget and save on costs.
- Must be computer literate.
KEY DUTIES:
The candidate will have to implement the following duties:
- To manage daily operations of the assigned unit.
- To implement the production process.
- To managing food/labour costs
- To overall understanding of HACCP.
- Events management
