FULL DESCRIPTIONS:

Our company is looking for the qualified Millwright to start working urgently.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
  • Must have Qualified Millwright
  • Must have minimum 5 years’ experience post trade test in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Must have Code B driver’s license
  • Must have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Must have experience in industrial maintenance, automation, and plant systems
  • Must have computer literacy.

  • Must have strong problem-solving and diagnostic ability
  • Must have ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Hands-on, practical approach with attention to detail
  • Must have good communication and teamwork skills
  • Must have high level of accountability and ownership
  • Must have commitment to continuous improvement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To install, test, commission, maintain, and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and systems within the plant
  • To perform preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
  • To conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting on a wide range of systems (motors, pumps, gearboxes, VFDs, hydraulics, and pneumatics)
  • To maintain and support automation systems and electrical installations, ensuring compliance with required standards
  • To support plant infrastructure maintenance, including building, mechanical, and site-related repairs
  • To manufacture, fit, and repair machine components where required
  • To assist in reducing breakdowns and improving overall plant performance and uptime
  • To participate in daily maintenance planning and collaborate with production teams
  • To maintain accurate records, including maintenance logs, inspections, and compliance documentation.
