Salary: R 20000 – R 25000 Monthly

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Draughtsman to start working ASAP.
KEY REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate must meet the following qualifications:
- Must a tertiary qualification in draughting
- Must have proven experience as a Production Draughtsman or Mechanical Draughtsman (preferably in fan or mechanical engineering).
- Must have understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Must have experience interpreting engineering drawings and preparing detailed production drawings.
- Proficiency in CAD software
KEY REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The candidate must have the following skills and competences
- Must have strong organizational and administrative abilities
- Must be friendly, reliable and professional communication
- Must have client-facing experience
- Must have proactive and solution-driven approach
- Must have ability to multitask and work independently
- Must have prior experience in a similar role (construction sector experience advantageous)
- Living locally an advantage also.
KEY DUTIES:
The candidate will have to implement the following duties:
- To prepare detailed mechanical drawings, including assembly, fabrication, and layout.
- To ensure all drawings comply with project, company, and ISO standards.
- To interpret engineers’ design briefs and develop practical manufacturing solutions.
- To attend design briefings and cross-check with engineers before finalising drawings.
- To update existing drawings according to revisions and maintain accurate revision records.
- To implement drawing revision control procedures and utilise document management systems.
- To ensure adherence to ISO, company, and client standards, and stay updated on mechanical codes.
- To communicate effectively with engineers, production, and quality teams; attend design meetings.
- To complete drawing tasks within required timeframes and prioritise based on project deadlines.
- To enhance drafting skills, software proficiency, and propose workflow improvements.
- To support quality assurance by providing accurate drawings for inspections and dimensional checks
