JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Driver to start working ASAP.
KEY REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate must meet the following qualifications:
- ABET / AET or Grade 10 as recognized by SAQA.
- Must have driving experience.
- Must have valid vehicle driver’s license plus Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
KEY REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The candidate must have the following skills and competences
- Must have knowledge of procedures to operate a motor vehicle e.g., procedures to obtain trip authorities, complete the logbooks of motor vehicle, obtain consumables (e.g., petrol) and obtain basic services (e.g., fixing a flat tire).
- Must have knowledge of the prescripts for the correct utilization of the motor vehicle e.g. 93 How and for what purposes can the motor vehicle be utilized and the requirements for the storage of the vehicle.
- Must have knowledge of procedures to ensure that the motor and retrieval procedures.
- Must have understanding of the work in registry.
- Must have computer operating skills.
- Must have Language.
- Planning and organization.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
KEY DUTIES:
The candidate will have to implement the following duties:
- To render core driver functions; Drive light and medium motor vehicles to
- transport passengers and deliver other items (mail and documents).
- To do routine maintenance on the allocated vehicle and report defects timely.
- To complete all the required and prescribed records and logs books regarding the vehicle and goods handled.
- To render a clerical support / messenger service in the office.
- To collect and deliver documentation and relate
