JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Millwright to start working ASAP.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Millwright Trade
- Must have 3 or more years of post-trade experience
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- PLC/VSD Drives experience
- Must have experience with panel wiring
- Mus have ability to prioritize workload
- Must have report writing and analysis on job
- Mentoring apprentices
- Must be able to work shifts and be available on call outs and standby
- Must have driver’s license with own transport
- Hands on experience with installation, maintenance and repairs of machinery such as mixers, ovens, proffers, conveyors, slicers and packaging equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the machines do not
- To inspect drives, motors, belts, bearings, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions following checklists.
- To be able to comply with Food Safety
- To assemble, install and/or repair, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment on steam and
- To ensure that your department complies with all Health and Safety
- To diagnose and correct mechanical
- To inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine
- To direct and train workers to install, maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
- To record maintenance and repair work
- To clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Projects and machine installations
